after choosing Thiessen Construction and Roofing
We have included a few things to expect as your project draws closer.
On the day before your roof is scheduled for installation:
- Move cars from garage or driveway so pathway is clear for delivery of the trailer, and you can get out.
- Remove precious art pieces from the walls as the pounding on the roof can cause vibrations, and in rare cases "unseat" pictures and other items from the wall.
- Our supplier will arrive with the materials and load them onto your roof. It isn't necessary that you are home for this process.
- Some of our customers prefer to have the roof done when they or their pets are away because of the noise and activity.
- On the day before or morning of the installation we will back our trailer onto the driveway or other prearranged location to remove the old roofing. We use a trailer with tires so we don't damage your driveway or surrounding areas.
On "Job" Day:
- One of our team will arrive first thing in the morning to "post" the permit, and get the process underway. We use blue painter’s tape to significantly reduce residue.
- Our teams need access to a power source. If an external power source isn't available, please provide access to one in the garage.
- We are in constant contact with our crews throughout the day tending to whatever your job needs. If you have any questions, please call us directly instead of speaking with them as they are focused on completing the job in a timely way. The best number is 303-694-4363.
- We will perform a thorough clean-up of your property when the job is finished. If you live in a city where a pre, or mid-roof inspection is required, this can delay the completion, and the subsequent cleanup. We will do everything we can to ensure a clean, nail-free environment throughout the process, but as with all construction projects the process can be a bit messy. If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to call us at 303-694-4363.
When the roof is done and the crews have left.
- Please leave the permit where it has been placed until the code inspector has had the opportunity to mark the job as "passed". When indicated that it has passed, you may remove it and keep it for your records. With recent storms, municipalities are running a bit behind, and the final permit process could take several weeks.
Again, thank you for choosing Thiessen Construction and Roofing for your project. We sincerely appreciate your business.
